How quickly must I report a change of address in Serbia when I have temporary residence?
Checked on
Within three days. Serbia's Law on Foreigners requires a foreigner on temporary residence to tell the police of a change of residential address within three days. Staying at another registered address for up to 15 days for personal or business reasons doesn't count as a change. Permanent residents report a new domicile within eight days.

Your address while on temporary residence
The law distinguishes your place of stay (any address where you stay longer than 24 hours) from your residential address (the registered address where you intend to live during your temporary residence) (Zakon o strancima, art. 110(1)–(2)). A registered place of stay or residential address is one of the general conditions you meet when applying (art. 43(1)(3)), and the residential address is stored on the permit card’s chip (art. 101a(4)).
If you move, the law requires you to tell the police unit for foreigners within three days of the change (art. 110(3)). Registering a stay at another address for personal, business or other reasons does not count as moving as long as it lasts no more than 15 days (art. 110(4)).
Registration of stay
Separately from the residential address, the law requires your stay to be registered within 24 hours. Hotels and other paid accommodation, and private people you visit, do this for you; if neither applies, you register yourself within 24 hours of entering Serbia or of changing your place of stay (art. 111(1)–(3)). The portal’s guidance says registration can be done electronically on the eAdministration portal, and accommodation facilities register guests through the eTourist application.
