Lumen

How it works

Hundreds of postings. A handful that fit you.

Job boards hand you everything and leave the sorting to you. Lumen reads jobs that employers publish in their own hiring systems, scores each one against your real resumes and preferences, and lists the best fit first.

From every open role to the few that fit

  1. 22,783open roles scanned
  2. 2,257companies, read from their own hiring systems
  3. Yousee them scored, best fit first (Pro)

With Pro, each role is scored against your resumes and preferences, best fit first. Jobs come from companies’ own hiring systems, not from job boards or reposting sites. Updated 4 hours ago.

What a match looks like

This is how a match appears in your workspace. The employer and role below are made up.

Example

Senior Backend Engineer — Example Fintech

86/100 · Remote · US or EU time zones

Chosen resume: Senior Go backend

Scored by claude-haiku-5-5

The title opens the employer's form. Mark applied moves it to your Applied list.

Step by step

  1. Match. Lumen reads roles that employers publish in their own hiring systems and scores each one against your profile and preferences.
  2. Pick the resume. Keep one complete resume. Lumen scores each role against it. It never rewrites it: you are presented as you are.
  3. You apply. Open the role on the employer's own form and apply with your own CV. Lumen never submits for you.
  4. Keep track. Mark the job applied; it moves to your Applied list and stays there, even after the posting closes.

Lumen works only for you, the candidate. It measures success by interviews per application, not by how many applications go out.

Your data, plainly

Where jobs come from

Jobs come from companies’ own hiring systems, not from job boards or reposting sites: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Recruitee and Personio, read through the public posting feeds those systems offer.

What goes to the AI

To score a match, Lumen sends Anthropic the relevant parts of your resume (summaries and experience), your country, work authorization and preferences, plus the employer's job description. For scoring, your email, name, phone and saved answers are left out. When you import a CV, the whole PDF goes to Anthropic once to draft your resume; we don't keep the file. Anything you type into free text can still go along, so keep sensitive details out of it.

What we store

Your resumes and their versions, preferences, saved answers, matches and the jobs you marked applied, so your workspace works. You can export everything as JSON or delete your Lumen data from My workspace. An application you already sent stays with that employer.

The full picture, including providers and retention, is in the privacy notice.

Your next role is in there somewhere. Let Lumen find it.
