Checked on

You pay two amounts. The permit card fee is 964 TL in 2026 and applies to every nationality. Two separate payments

The card fee is the price of the permit document itself. The regulation says each foreigner receives a separate document and pays a fee for it as a security paper, set by the Ministry of Finance (art. 23(1)(c)). The Presidency of Migration Management’s fees page gives 964.00 TL from 1 January 2026, based on the communiqué published in the Official Gazette of 24 December 2025 (No. 33117), and says no nationality is exempt.

The residence fee (ikamet izni harcı) comes from Fees Law No. 492. The Presidency’s page publishes the general 2026 rate from the Fees Law communiqué in the Official Gazette of 31 December 2025 (No. 33124). It also says the Ministry of Treasury and Finance sets the fees on a reciprocity basis, so the amount for your nationality can be different. The FAQ says e-İkamet calculates the amount you owe when you complete your application.

How to pay

The FAQ lists these options: online by credit card through e-İkamet, at tax offices that collect one-off taxes, at Ministry of Treasury and Finance cash desks, or at Ziraat Bankası, VakıfBank or Halkbank, giving your application number. The payment codes are 9207 for the card fee, 9233 for the residence fee and 9234 for the visa fee.
